The Client

Instaclustr is a Managed SaaS Platform, delivering reliability at scale (e.g. scalable databases) through an integrated data platform of open source technologies.

The Trigger & Challenge

In late 2016, they raised funds to ramp up customer acquisition. Digital Rhinos were engaged in early 2017 to help deliver against their aggressive growth targets.

organic search, paid search and paid social.

Paid Search

Extensive paid search campaigns, including keyword research, landing page creation and ongoing optimisation, across multiple geographic regions and products.

Organic Search

Content research to guide content creation, use to acquire content leads through organic search and paid social. This also included building out nurture campaigns to progress leads through the marketing funnel.


Ongoing SEO improvements sitewide, including on-page optimisation, developing & implementing the SEO content strategy and technical SEO improvements.

Over the course of a year, we were able to increase organic traffic to the site by 143%, with a Year on Year increase of 227%.

Increase in Total Conversions

With the work in organic & paid search, as well as significant on- site conversion optimisation, we were able to drive significant increases across all of the key conversion metrics on the site Year on Year from both organic and paid search.

This meant a 229.63% increase in goal completions for organic search, and 446.03% for paid search.
